Studios for one person start from £370 per month.

The only additional cost is a variable contribution towards Energy Costs.

A returnable two months deposit is required on signing the lease.

We encourage artists to share studios as a way of strengthening the community, encouraging collaboration and keeping costs down.

Studios can either be shared in halves or quarters, dependent on the size of the space. Kindred will find you a suitable studio match.

Attendance is VERY important to us and a minimum of 3 full days a week in the studios is required or you may be required to shift your practice to a membership model.

Minimum Term:
Artist Studios are required to commit to a minimum 3-months.

Leaving:
There is the flexibility to give 2-months notice after the minimum term is completed.

Deposit:
We hold 2-months rent as a deposit.

Being part of Kindred means that you will need to contribute time and energy in:

• Getting to know others & participating in the culture

• Take part in Open Studios and its preparation

• Give 2 full days of your professional time to inspire young people or contribute your skills to one of our community groups.

This act of generosity is really important to us. Please do not apply for a studio if you feel this is too difficult for you, Membership might be more suited to you.
